Good Medicine
“The novelty of winter snow wears off faster for some of us than others, and we are the ones who complain about the long, dark days and the icy cold weather…
The picture of winter giving way to spring is enriched when we think of wintry darkness being the absence of God’s favor. When we experience trials and struggles, it feels as though God has turned His back on us, but feelings can lie.
God is always present with us, even in the darkest winters of our lives. However suffocating the darkness, we can and must hold on to the promise of joy coming in the morning. The glorious light of God’s love will break through the darkness.
When the darkness seems endless and You seem far away, help me hold to my beliefs that, in Your timing, You will cause the darkness to flee and that You are near me…” (Peace)
