No Fear
“Have you ever suffered from a case of FOMO? Fear of Missing Out? It’s a recently coined phrase, but it describes a fear we’ve all felt at one point or another. When we say no to an event or opportunity, we cringe to think of what we might be missing out on. So to ensure we don’t miss out, we say yes to an awful lot—more than we probably should. And then we wonder why we’re so burned out.
It’s hard to say no. But it’s a word that we need to become more comfortable saying, Saying no doesn’t have to be unkind or thoughtless; it can be said with gentlemen. And saying no can open up more space in our lives to say yes to the things that matter to us, such as time with the Lord.
So teach yourself to say no without fear. And then raise your hand in a triumphant yes!…(Rest)
