Slow Growth
“…Spiritual growth can sometimes seem slow. Day after day, you struggle to reflect the calling that God has placed on your life. God has called you to love, but you have resentments toward someone else. God has called you to give, but you hold back some of your offering for a personal want. These and other marks of failed spirituality persist as you pray and read the Bible for insight to grow past them. Do not give up. The promises in God’s Word are true, and in His Time God will give you a growth spurt.
The progress toward your dream might seem slow as well. But continue growing and learning. Let the people you admire, who seem to tower above with their success, be reminders that your hopes can grow and succeed too…” (Hope)
