Hopeful Mindset

“You wake to a new day and new choices every morning…How do you prepare for your day? Do you give thanks for life and blessings with morning devotions? Or do you fret over worries? It is your choice to decide what to do. Choosing between worrying or spending time in a devotional study is not a difficult decision. Beginning the day with worry may create anxiety that lasts throughout the day. Beginning the day with a Bible Study will be as if you are closing yourself ‘with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience ‘ (Colossians 3:12).

Devotions are tools that you use when you meet with God. In this morning encounter you connect by reflecting on Scripture, praying, and listening for His voice. God speaks to you by a still, small voice or through His Word. Your devotional time will ensure a hopeful mind-set throughout the day.

Choosing joyful thoughts by having a devotional time each morning, rather than reflecting on the worries of your life, could inspire a happier and more hopeful attitude all day. Choose to spend time with the Lord so that your hope can be renewed each morning…” (Hope)
