A New Start
“Starting over after failure is really an opportunity for a fresh beginning. You have moved your starting line from the past to the present. You have opted to overcome the disappointment and move on to make new plans and set new goals. By doing this you can reestablish your hope and life. Do not think of failure and starting over as an anomaly. It is part of life and success. It can even be seen in your Christian experience. The word sin means you miss the mark.’ Whenever we choose something that does not align with God’s will, we are missing the mark. However, whenever we do sin. God will forgive us and help us to begin again.
Failure has a way of waking you up to new opportunities and moving you to a new start. You have learned lessons and now know how to begin well. As you evaluate what happened, look for the skills you learned or talents that worked to apply in the future. Envision new results and make new plans to reach your hopes. May your brand-new start produce a brand-new ending…” (Hope)
This is so timely with the new year just around the corner. Thank you for the inspiration!
