Kindling A Fire
“…Your mind must have fuel so that it will burn brightly. The fuel that keeps your mind burning is knowledge, and the way to obtain knowledge is to study. Studying keeps our minds stimulated and vibrant so that we can think and speak well. In the book of 2 Timothy, we are encouraged to diligently study so that we can correctly handle God’s Word. Our knowledge benefits those to whom we share the truth. Therefore, one must consistently study the Word of God.
When you are seeking to fulfill your dreams, it helps to fuel your mind. Let solid facts and ideas be like a match that sparks you thinking. When you examine and question ideas, you put your mind to work just as a fire that continues to burn. Ideas with no substance will burn away quickly, but the real truths will burn continuously, triggering good reasoning and kindling your imagination. Therefore, you should study to fuel your mind and spark new hopes…” (Hope)
