Little Pebbles

“When you stumble and fall, something little probably tripped you like a pebble or a little unevenness in a sidewalk. You rise up and continue on your path, perhaps a little bruised and embarrassed. Sometimes you may also fall spiritually. A little sin, such as a lie, may cause you to fall, but the book of Proverbs reveals that you will rise again.

It does not matter the number of times you fall, because if your heart is sincere toward God, you will rise every time. A heart of repentance and your love for God cause you to continue moving forward.

In moving toward a dream, it is the little things that trip you and cause you to stumble…A discouraging word or unfavorable response may make it difficult to press on. You may feel bruised or even humiliated, but you can get up again and persevere. Remember, it is just a little pebble along your journey of reaching your hopes…” (Hope)
