When troubles thrust us into the darkness of despair, we can stumble and fumble around looking for a source of light, a source of comfort or direction or peace. We can stub our toes and bump our heads on many of the options the world offers before we reach for the only Light that can deliver us from our dark despair. Only the Lord hears our cries when the power goes out.
