Saving Help

“Where do you turn when you need help? The answer to that question can make a huge difference in the amount of joy you live with each day. Have you ever looked to the wrong thing or person and been disappointed? The world will offer false sources of security, and many people will trust in the wrong thing (Psalm 20:7) and be forced to live with the consequences.

To live joyfully, we must know where to turn in times of trouble. We must say, with all the certainty of the psalmist that our help comes from the Lord (Psalm 122:2). We can be glad knowing that when we look to God, the help we long for is on the way.

Whatever the need may be and whatever saving we are seeking, we can rejoice knowing that the Lord is more than able. He’s been saving His people from the very beginning and He isn’t stopping now…” (Joyful)
