It would be nice to have a crystal ball, to know exactly what the future holds. That would take such a load off your shoulder, right? Or would it make you even more fearful?

Yes, there are surely exciting and wonderful things waiting for you in the future. But because we live in a single world, there will also trials ahead. There will be scary and uncharted territory, pain, and confusion. And knowing the difficult things you’ll face might be more than your heart can handle right now.

God understands your hopes and concerns for the future, but He also knows you can’t handle it all at once. God will faithfully provide everything you need to walk with Him each day—He just asks that you trust Him, one day at a time. No, you can’t know the future.
