Why Bible Journaling?
I have been Bible journaling for about nine months; just the amount of time to have a baby! In many respects Bible journaling has become my baby! I never understood how much I would enjoy it!
I didn’t really know what Bible journaling was. I thought it was taking notes and writing journal entries. I even bought a NIV Journal the word Bible and had noticed it had nice columns that were already lined.
It wasn’t until I took Flourish’s bible journaling conference that I learned that Bible journaling is taking a verse of the Bible, writing it out with nice lettering, and including an art entry that illustrates it.
Since January 1, I have been reading six different 365 day devotionals on the words: Thankful, Joyful, Hope, Peace, Rest, and Love. I have been asking God to give me one verse from one of these six to Bible journal. What I have posted on my Bible journaling page are these entries.
