Working for Good in Perfect Peace
“Because you belong to Christ, the accuser has no power over you because, as Roman’s 8:1 declared, ‘There is no condemnation for those who belong to Christ Jesus ‘…
When you step away from God’s plan, because you belong to Him, God doesn’t listen to your accuser. Instead, He steps down to meet you on that broken path you’ve stumbled onto.
He brushes away the dirt and dust of your sins, your doubts, and your disobedience. And with love and grace. He stretches out His hand and gently guides you back to its perfect path. All the while He heals and teaches and renews so that you grow stronger than ever before.
While the accuser strives to use our stumblings against us, God promises to use them for us.” (Thankful)
“We can struggle to focus on what we need to focus on. Jesus offers this solution: focus on Him. Imagine training our amazing brain to do exactly that! From the moment our eyes flutter open, we focus our thoughts on Jesus as the Giver of a new day. When we get dressed, we think of the One who provides for our needs. As we handle all that the days holds, we focus on the One who gives us those tasks and the ability to do them. Such a focus on Jesus would mean peace in our hearts.” (Peace)
