Wisdom
God blessed Adam and Eve with everything, including trees that produced beautiful and delicious fruit. BUT Eve wanted more. She wanted to have the wisdom the fruit would give her. She wanted to have the knowledge of good and evil. She wanted to be God.
The wisdom that Eve sought is the world’s wisdom: the knowledge of good and evil. Proverbs help us to understand the insights of the wise; to live disciplined and successful lives, and do what is right, just and fair.
Be satisfied with what God gives you. Don’t live as if what you have is not enough. Meditate on God’s Word day and night and you will be successful.
